MISSION: The NCEC incorporates simulation-based education to engage all learners in a safe, innovative environment to train healthcare providers to deliver collaborative and person-centered quality care.   

VISION: The NCEC is a premier destination for state-of-the-art simulation education that builds and sustains the excellence of the healthcare workforce and facilitates interprofessional collaboration through teaching, learning, and research.   

NCEC Core Values and Statement of Philosophy: 

The Nursing Clinical Education Center (NCEC) is a partnership between the Department of Nursing Service and Patient Care (DoN) and the College of Nursing (CoN). Partnering provides operational efficiencies, shared resources, and values.    

Our shared resources provide foundational expertise in simulation to support diverse, inter-professional, simulation-based education to our students, staff, and clinical partners.

Do I have to pay to use your simulation spaces?

If you are a College of Nursing or UIHC entity, with few exceptions, there will be no charge. For more information, contact:

You can use the Card block with an image and headline, using the "Excerpt" field to introduce the destination page's content and "Link Text" to add a clickable link button. 

The example Articles block on the right pulls a feed from content added to your site using the "Article" page type.  The Events feed below is pulled from content marked relevant to Students.   

Use the Statistics content block to highlight everything that makes your department or unit stand out. You can place them next to body content by adding them to an adjacent column. You can also place a series of stats side-by-side.
